Spiritscape
has evolved
into a highly interactive dream environment with classic Fantasy RPG
themes.
Time passes in the environment simulating day, night, sun, moon, solar
eclipse, scattered storms, with elements of the landscape changing as
players
interact with it. Players can gather raw materials and harvest crops to
cook and craft new items. There are also locations where private homes
can be built as well as public houses.
Character development, stats and inventory is all managed through DS
and PS. Players can choose or change character class to be Wizards or
Warriors or not choose a class and remain a Wanderer. Wizards have the
advantage of Ranged Attack. Warriors have the advantage of Enhanced
Defense. Wanderers have no special advantage. Each Level players are
awarded Training Points they can use to develop the skills of Spells,
Blacksmithing, and Lore.
New players arrive in the Library which has many volumes of different
aspects of the world. There is also a Book Button on all tabs that can
be clicked with the Key commands players need to know to interact with
the
world. New players should not let themselves get bogged down or
confused with the books in the Library until they've done some
exploring and seek more knowledge of the world. There are NPCs through
out the immediate village who offer goods, services, informations and
tasks that can reward in gold, experience, materials as well as karma.
Beyond the Village the river, forest and valley areas are relativly
safe locations with only an occasional group of aggresive creatures
wandering in from hot spots along the borders. These areas are suitable
for fishing, hunting, farming and homes. The foothills and caves closest
to the village are the edges of hostile territories which extend into
the mountains, caves, tombs, dungeons and underworld.
Beyond simple exploration and discovery players have a wide range of
things to do for fun and experience. Besides just fighting monsters and
other players, there is farming, fishing, hunting, cooking, crafting,
eating, drinking, with team-play (Chaos vs. Order) to Control the Tower
and the game of Skull Ball. Rune Running is another activity that has a
variety of rewards that include player experience, team experience, and
the King's Crown. There are also individual and group challenges of the
Dark Spirit (mirror-fight), the Sleeper (3 headed Dragon), and the Dark
Lord's Challenge. (6 Guardian Bosses) each with it's own unique reward
and experience.
There have never been any set rules other than to Have Fun!
Everyone is welcome to come explore, discover and shape the world of
Spiritscape.
